There seems to be very little doubt that Dublin is the grips of another mini property boom after about 7 years of extreme pain. Everywhere you look around the city the same signs are there that we all remember so well. We just can't stop asking ourselves "are we really going to be this stupid all over again??". Here are the 17 sure signs that the Dublin property bubble is back...

.There was a 32 page property pull out in the Irish Times last week

.This absolutely hideous looking place costs 1000 Euros a month to rent and is what students are having to fork out

.Permanent TSB is advertising for mortgages for irish houses in AUSTRALIA!

.The Irish banks are falling over each other to offer mortgages

.There is an estate agents on Baggot street that looks like a high end hotel

.So all the houses might not have sold out but there were people camping outside normal houses in Swords for days in advance

.Because politicians are talking about a "soft landing" once again

.Because this apartment in Dublin costs 285k

whereas the same money in Germany gets you this...

.Because estate agents are scanning hand written notes and delivering them en masse

.Every city centre hotel lobby you walk into there are "developer types" from the country talking to slick city types from London in hushed tones

.People are buying cars again like there is no tomorrow. Houses are the next logical step up the ladder

.Johnny Ronan has bought back his debts, is wheeling dealing once again and could be about to build a huge property beside the convention centre

.Oh and of course there was the talk of prefabs to sort the housing crisis. Prefabs!!!

.Because according to one survey Dublin now has the 3rd hottest propety market in the entire WORLD!!

.Because a Government advisor is trotting out saying that it is not a bubble and that there is a "natural breaking mechanism in place"

.Because this lovely family home went up 25% or a whopping 700,000 just like that

.This house is what half a million Euros gets you in Dublin right now. HALF A MILLION EUROS!!!
