Dublin Airport had its busiest ever February last month, with the busy hub seeing an incredible 1.8 million passengers pass through on their merry way.
This is an increase of 4% from last year, so we can only imagine that they’re pretty pleased with their records.
Looks like short haul flights are by far the most popular for people flying from Dublin, with 852,000 passengers making an increase of 4% on trips to Europe.
Flight traffic to North America also saw huge growth, with rising passenger numbers of 127,000 for an increase of 28% .
In total, 3.6 million passengers have passed through Dublin Airport in the first two months of this year, making it the busiest ever start to a new year for the airport.
28 million flyers used the airport during 2016. Pretty impressive.
