So get this…
A music festival, with a common theme of the Irish language and some of Ireland’s best music acts is taking place  next June 10 and 11.Â
Irish music acts such as Delorentos, The Riptide Movement, Ham Sandwich, KÃla, Heathers, Hot House Flowers and more will descend upon Ardgillan Castle in North County Dublin. Â
People have been taking for years about the Irish language making a comeback, what with waiting lists for All-Irish schools and the like. However, it’s cool events like Ravelóid that solidify this comeback for me.
With full camping facilities for 5,000 people, this festival of Irish language and culture will consist of live music, comedy, dance, literature, discussions, workshops and more. From the looks of it this will be an unmissable weekend whether you’re fluent in Irish, or if you’ve only got cúpla focail.
