The Gardaí have issued an appeal this morning after two instances involving delivery vehicles parking in cycle lanes in the city.
In a tweet accompanied by two photos, the Gardaí said:
‘Appeal to all delivery vehicles (including security vans drivers) to park legally!
see examples on O’Connell Street and again on O’ Connell Bridge this morning, completely blocking the cycle track.

The appeal comes after a cyclist was fined last weekend for breaking a red light on Westmoreland Street.
