After a couple of days out of action because of Ophelia, the Luas is back on the streets of Dublin this morning.
Yesterday, it was announced that the service wouldn't be operating until today but at around 9pm last night, Luas released a statement indicating that both the red and green lines had already made an early return.

"Luas Red and Green Lines have returned to passenger service tonight Tuesday October 17 2017
"Following a test of the track and technical systems tonight a decision was made to open
service in advance of the publicised opening time tomorrow.
"The Luas will operate in accordance with the Luas timetable for this hour of the night-
there is no change to last tram departure or frequency.
"Luas services will recommence in the morning at 5.30am.
Luas would like to thank Customers for their patience today .

That certainly makes getting to work a little bit easier for a lot of Dubliners today.
