The Organisers Of The Pokémon Go Pub Crawl Are Asking Bars To Get Involved

Pokémon GO has united people all over the world.

They're getting up and out, exploring their local areas through the screen of their phone.

And the organisers of this pub crawl in Dublin want to take things one step further by adding drink into the equation.It sounds like an absolute hoot.

They're currently looking for 'Poképubs' around Dublin to take part in the event.

We're in talks with different bars around Dublin to lock down the crawl route for Ireland’s first Pokemon Go Pub Crawl. We've had a great response so far. It’s awesome to see Irish SMBs eager to get involved, jumping on board and adapting a new technology to drum up some business for themselves.

And it's all for a good cause.

Marcel runs Clicks to Causes, a digital agency for non-profits, and says that all proceeds from the crawl will go to a charity. Nice.

Over 1,000 people have already clicked 'attending' on the Facebook event so it's shaping up to be one of the craziest and most unique events Dublin has seen in a long time.

They've also created their own hashtag, #COYPG (Come On You Pokémon Go), which is gas.
