For those of you without plans for the evening, you might be interested to learn that The Princess Bride will be screened at Fitzwilliam Square after dark.
The fairy tale adventure tells the story of a young woman (Robin Wright) and her one true love (Cary Elwes), who must return from a long separation to save her from a marriage to an evil prince.
The 1987 classic includes pirates, giants, revenge, and a tonne of laughs. Check out the trailer below.
As this is a Happenings event, you can expect the best of Dublin’s food and drink vendors to be on hand with all the popcorn, coffee, and burgers your heart desires.
Tickets for the screening are €10 per person and you can pick them up on usheru here or at the door.
The Princess Bride will be screened around 10pm tonight (or whenever it’s dark enough) at 20Â Fitzwilliam Square.
