It’s National Curry Week and it’s also basically the weekend – so we can picture nothing better this evening than tucking into a huge tray of filthy curry chips.
Yesterday, we asked our readers to vote in our poll on where we can find the best curry chips in Dublin.
And now, the highly-anticipated results are in.
Leo Burdock has been crowned the best spot to get curry chips in our fair city according to our knowledgable readers, racking up 32% of the vote.
The traditional fish and chip joint has been around since 1913 and their spot at Christchurch is renowned for its celebrity visits.
Top a single of chips with the crispy batter bits with curry sauce and you are in heaven.
In a close second was Irish fast food restaurant Supermacs with 27% of the vote.
A lot of Dubliners stroll to their O’Connell Street location after a night out on the town for the €3.30 chips, you can get curry and cheese chips also for €4.80 if you wanted that little bit extra.
Charlie’s chinese restaurant came in third place with 20% of Dubliners picking it as their favourite.
