A free festival, entitled Cruinniú na Cásca, will be taking place on Easter Monday in Dublin city centre.
The large-scale festival itself follows on from RTÉ's Reflecting the Rising which was held in Dublin city centre in 2016 as part of the Ireland 2016 Centenary Programme.
As part of the Cruinniú na Cásca, there will be an array of festivities to be enjoyed across four zones (St Stephen's Green, Dublin Castle, Smithfield Square and Custom House Quay) inthe city between 11am and 6pm.
Festival-goers can expect everything from live music, dance, theatre, art and music workshops, talks and tastings, readings and screenings, special events and even more.
Speaking at the launch of Cruinniú na Cásca, Taoiseach Enda Kenny said:
"It’s an initiative that is close to my heart. The theme for Cruinniú Na Cásca 2017 is diversity and inclusion.''
