There Was A Protest In Dun Laoghaire To Fight Bus Cutbacks This Afternoon

Dun Laoghaire was the scene of a protest today to fight back at plans to reduce local Dublin Bus services.

The protest, which began at People’s Park at 1pm, is a response to the announcement that budget cuts would mean reductions in services to the Killiney, Sallynoggin and Dun Laoighaire areas, which would be a massive blow to the community’s more vulnerable members.

As can be seen in the pictures below, the People Before Profit campaigners managed to rally many locals to their cause today.
