Unless you were hibernating in a post-weekend duvet cave yesterday, you probably heard that the ‘Repeal the 8th’ mural outside Project Arts Centre was taken down…
Despite Maser and The Hunreal Issues having full permission to paint on the walls, Dublin City Council ruled that the mural be removed immediately.
And people weren’t too happy about it.
So, today at 11.30am a public demonstration will take place in Meeting House Square to make some noise about yesterday’s events.
“In light of what happened today with the Repeal the 8th mural being forcibly removed from the front of Project Arts Centre, a groop of artists are hatching a plan of protest and artistic activism tomorrow morning. Come along to Meeting House Square for 11:30am and lets show these Anti-Choicers that we cannot be silenced with blue paint.
