There Will Be A Retro Gaming Night On In This Dublin Pub Later This Month

Looking for something to do during this dry, dry January?

Well, you’re in luck as RetroGaming.ie are back with their first event of 2017, and have only gone and decided it’s SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) Day at The Back Page, on Saturday January 28.

They’re gonna pack The Back Page with SNES Gold, with two SNES tournaments topping the bill in Super Mario Kart and Street Fighter II Turbo. They’re also throwing in a bunch of free to play side games like the classic Super Bomberman, Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat II, Super Mario All Stars, NES’s Duck Hunt and many, many more. 

And, what time do these fabulous tournaments kick off?

16:00 – 18:00 SUPER MARIO KART
17:00 – 19:00 STREET FIGHTER II TURBO

Both tournaments will be double elimination format, giving players double the craic and double the chance to win. If you lose one match you’re put back into the tournament to play again, in a later round.

What about those of us who just want to have the craic?

They’ll also have a bunch of SNES/NES side games free to play from 3pm
