Christmas is an expensive time of year so the last thing we need is to be spending an arm and a leg on parking.
Spending a few hours in town can rack up a hefty bill and while the Blanchardstown Centre has free parking and Dundrum is on the cheap side, it often takes ages just to find a spot.
In the spirit of the season, Fingal County Council has announced that free parking will be made available in the towns of Balbriggan, Rush, Skerries and Swords in a bid to keep people shopping local.
