There’s A Deadly New Ghostbus Tour Coming To Dublin

Sarah Finnan

Bus tours are a great way to see a city, you’re literally brought to all of the top attractions and told the key information about each place.

So, there’s very little planning and manoeuvring involved on your part.

Spooky night bus tours go one step better and add a scare factor to the mix. There’s a weird enjoyment to be gotten from being terrified.

Ghostbus Tour’s is the newest kid-friendly venture of DoDublin’s long-running original Ghostbus Tour.

Only for the brave of heart, climb aboard and you’ll learn all about our not-so-fair city’s horrible histories along with all the gruesome gory secrets

Professional actors amp up the theatrics and drama to keep you on edge and make sure you never get too comfortable.

You’ll delve into Dublin’s associations with the venerated Dracula, hear more on the magical myths of Yeats and Wilde and might even meet the devil himself at the Pepper Canister Church.

Teddy, the resident dismembered torso, will recount how Dr. Clossy cut up cadavers in the College of Surgeons. The fearless few will also be treated to a torture demonstration which promises “blood-curdling effects”.

Not just for Halloween, the new tour will run year-round on Saturdays at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. from stop 271 on O’Connell Street.

Suitable for ages seven to 14, tickets cost €15. Anyone who survives will receive a certificate signed by Count Dracula himself…so buckle up at your own risk.
