There's An Unofficial Post Strike Happening In Dublin Right Now

An Post workers in Dublin 6 are taking part in a 'wildcat' strike today.

No mail service will be operating in areas like Rathmines, Ranelagh, Rathgar and Terenure today because of the unofficial industrial action by the Rathmines Delivery Unit, according to Independent.ie.

An Post has released a statement and asked these workers to "cease this disruption to customers by returning to normal working and allowing any issues to be dealt with through the established industrial relations procedures for handling workplace grievances".

An Post customers are being asked not to use post boxes in the affected areas at present.
