Classic Christmas Movies Will Be Shown In A Unique Dublin Church Next Month

AmyBell

If you want to watch some of the all time Christmas favourites somewhere other than your home or cinema, you’ll be chuffed to hear that there’s going to be a two-day event of festive movies taking place in a 19th century church in town.

The Unitarian Church on St.Stephen’s Green will be turning into a very different movie venue and will be showing classics such as Elf, Home Alone 1, Home Alone 2 and Muppets Christmas Carrol on a large screen just at the altar.

The Christmas extravaganza is being hosted by The Pictures and will run over the course of two days, Friday and Saturday, December 15th and 16th.

If you’re wondering what it will all look like, this will give you an idea of the unique setting:

Home Alone 1 will be shown at 6pm and Home Alone 2 at 8pm on the Friday, while Muppets Christmas Carol will be shown at 6pm on the Saturday and Elf at 8pm.

You can buy tickets for the separate movies here priced from €10 (plus a booking fee) and their Halloween event sold out, so you might want to book your tickets soon.

It does sound like something different to do to get yourself in the Christmas mood and where else will you get to watch a movie in a stunning church setting?
