The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) issued enforcement orders to 11 Irish food businesses in August, and four were in Dublin.
The first two establishments in the list below were issued with closure orders under FSAI Act, 1998, where it’s deemed that there is or there’s likely to be a grave and immediate danger to public health from the premises, or where an improvement order is not complied with.
The last two businesses in the list below were issued with notices because of EC (Official Control of Foodstuffs) Regulations, 2010, where closure orders are served for non-compliance with food legislation.
The four businesses from Dublin have since had their closure orders lifted. Here they are.
1. Camden Halal (Butcher), 24 Camden Street Lower, Dublin 2

2. Sakura Sushi (Restaurant),157 Kimmage Road Lower, Dublin 6W
Issued: 03/08/2016. Lifted: 05/08/2016.
3. Spice Bazaar (Grocery), Unit 2, Castle Shopping Centre, Swords, County Dublin
Issued: 03/08/2016. Lifted: 05/08/2016.
4. Namaste India (Takeaway), 88 North King Street, Dublin 7
Issued: 29/08/2016. Lifted: 02/09/2016.
