JJ Smyth’s on Aungier Street will close its doors for good in a few weeks time.
The well-known spot has been open as a music venue since 1986 (it was a lesbian disco before that) to become Ireland’s longest running venue for jazz and blues gigs.
Recently sold to a new owner, JJs has several shows lined up over the next few weeks which it will see through before closure.
If you want to bid JJ Smyth’s farewell, be sure to drop in before the end of the month.
