This Change Is Going To Make It SO Much Easier To Use The Luas

There’s no denying that the Luas is an amazing piece of infrastructure and a very handy way to travel across the city.

However, if you’re prone to forgetting your Leap card, it can also be a pain in the ass.

The minimum charge to use a credit/debit card on Luas machines has always baffled us, and often leaves no other option than buying a return ticket to Tallaght when you only really need to go a few stops.

Thankfully, the powers that be have heard our prayers and FINALLY removed the minimum spend – so customers can now use cards for all transactions.

With this and the impending opening of Luas Cross-City, things are looking up!
