Watch this space, as Dublin-born, Malaysian-bred actress Niamh Walsh is about to become a household name.
The LAMDA graduate is set to skyrocket to fame after being cast in Jamestown, a new racy period drama, created by the same people who created Downton Abbey.
The new show, set in 1619 in Virginia, has been dubbed 'the new Downton'.

Walsh has been cast as one of the lead roles in the show, starring as Verity Bridges, a woman who's been shipped from Britain to Virginia to marry the town drunk.
The cast includes Sophie Rundle (Brief Encounters and Peaky Blinders) and Max Beesley (Hotel Babylon and Mad Dog).

Jamestown is set kick off on Sky on May 5.
