Dublin Fire Brigade have shared images on Twitter after one of their engines came under attack while approaching a bonfire last night.
Unfortunately one of our fire engines came under attack whilst approaching a bonfire in the East Wall area. Fortunately no injuries 1/2 pic.twitter.com/IzcH0f5FT8

DFB indicated that the incident occurred in the East Wall area but didn’t specify the exact location.
Makes you wonder what drives people to attack our emergency services like that. With Halloween just around the corner, sadly we may have to get used to stories like this over the coming days.
