This Popular Dublin Pub Has Been Crowned ‘Irish Pub Of The Year’

It’s tempting to stay fiercely loyal to your favourite pub, but if you’ve been looking for some inspo for new places to try, the following might be of interest. 

Slattery’s Pub of Beggar’s Bush was crowned the winner of the ‘Irish Pub Of The Year 2017’ at the Irish Pubs Global Awards 2017 in Ireland.

The event which was held in the Mansion House in the city centre last night celebrated and rewarded Irish pubs across the globe in many different categories.

Not only did the popular pub pick up the title of being Ireland’s Best Irish Pub, but Slattery’s Pub also won Best Marketing Campaign in Ireland and Best Marketing Campaign in the world.

Slattery’s Pub in Dublin 4 is a favourite of Ireland football fans before home games and has great DJ sets and a huge smoking area. The place is always buzzing with fans and many travel across the city just to visit it.

Other winners at the glamorous event included Scholars Lounge in Rome, which took home the ‘Global Irish Pub Of The Year’ trophy, while Dead Rabbit in New York won ‘Global Best Cocktail Experience.
