If you’re a pint-lover and social media user, you’ll have spotted this abomination of a pint that made headlines the world over during the week.
The Canadian pub has since apologised for ruining a perfectly good tipple, and a Dublin bar’s response has been only fantastic.
Slattery’s Pub at 62 Grand Canal Street Upper, Beggar’s Bush has just announced that they will be providing free pints for Canadians on Paddy’s Day in response to the harrowing pint above.
They took to their Facebook to announce the good news.
The post says:
“After the outrage earlier this week about *that* poorly poured pint of Guinness, Railtown Cafe in Canada apologised and offered free pints for Irish passport holders. In the spirit of Paddy’s Day we’d like to return the offer to our Canadian friends and invite anyone of age with a valid Canadian passport to join us tomorrow for a free pint of perfectly poured Guinness at Slattery’s Pub in Beggar’s Bush, Dublin between 4-6pm! Happy St Patrick’s Day to pint lovers everywhere ”
Good stuff.
Got any Canadian mates who enjoy the odd tipple?
Well, there ain’t no better place to take them tomorrow than Slattery’s.
