The three ladies behind Obeo were keen to create something easy, sustainable and easy-to-use in small environments – and they did just that. 

Their nifty little invention way better than your average bin – promising no smell, no leaks and definitely no maggots. 

And you get to save the world while also keeping clean yourself. Ideal!

Sounds great. But, how does it all work?

Obeo is made from water-resistant paper so it can handle wet food waste. 

The natural paper fibres allow food waste to breathe preventing smells in your kitchen. The cardboard layer provides strength and structure so it stands up on your counter top for easy access. 

Obeo will also stay intact in your brown bin until it’s collected so no more cleaning those dreaded bins.
