An English Footballer Nailed His McGregor Costume On A Trip To Dublin Over The Weekend

James Fenton

With Conor McGregor being one of Ireland’s most high-profile exports for many a year, it’s only natural that visitors will feel obliged to mimic him on a trip to this shores.

Over the weekend, English League 1 side Bradford City popped over to Dublin for a Christmas bonding session and by the looks of it they all enjoyed themselves.

While the fancy dress do saw all the players don extravagant costumes, none of them would have received more attention than striker Charlie Wyke, who dressed up in full Conor McGregor garb.

No stone was unturned as the 25-year-old sported a pair of flip sunglasses, a fur over-the-shoulder number and even had The Notorious’ full range of tattoos.

This picture was taken at The Auld Dubliner in Temple Bar and shared to Instagram by Wyke’s team-mate Dominic Poleon.

You have to applaud the effort here.
