This Famous Dublin Pub’s Christmas Guinness-Themed Window Display Is Absolutely Gorgeous

'Tis the season to be jolly.

And all over our glorious city restaurants, pubs and hotels are decking themselves out in fairy lights, tinsel and baubles.

But this famous Baggot Street/Merrion Row pub has gone one step further with a bespoke Guinness Christmas window display – and it's stunning.

What's Christmas without Guinness after all?

O’Donoghues dates back to 1934 and the historic spot attracts Guinness fans from all around the world.

Each little window has a unique Guinness and Christmas-related scene sitting magically within it.

The festive collaborative window depicts Christmas scenes with meticulous detail – each of the 12 window panes telling a different Guinness story including a miniature snowy Guinness Gates, one of most loved scenes from the Guinness Christmas ad (it even has a working lamppost!).

As well as the gates the window includes a handtied 'Christmas tree' using barley – one of the key Guinness ingredients, and a miniature replica Molly Malone statue, another scene from the iconic Guinness Christmas ad.
