Father Ted will forever be our nation’s favourite and most-treasured television show.
From the shores of Craggy Island to Father Jack’s beloved pet brick – the show is ingrained in our memories and engraved on our hearts.
Pop the Cherry has regular stand up comedy nights for newbies (popping their comedy cherries) and experienced comedians alike.
And next Monday, November 28, they’re hosting a special Father Ted comedy night in Whelan’s.
Buzzing.
There’ll be two very special and familiar guests on the night – Joe Rooney AKA the bad influence and Dub, Father Damo, and Patrick Mc Donnell AKA the dreamy Eoin McLove.
It’ll be like having true royalty amongst us.
Get over your Monday fear with a gaggle of laughs, and for only a fiver!
In the words of Mrs Doyle, “ARA GO ON, GO ON, GO ON”.
Also performing on the night are Pop the Cherry Comedy faves Andréa Farrell and Steve Bennett, with the gorgeous Niall Farrell as MC.
The gig is being held downstairs in Whelan’s in the larger room, with easy access to the bar for a few gargles.
As Father Jack would say, “DRINK!”
Get yo tickets here before they sell out.
And for any other info check out their Facebook event.
