This Ginormous 260-Foot Inflatable Slide Will Be FREE And Open To The Public Later This Month

Our inner child is about to come out, BIG TIME.

The Big Slide Home 2

Not too long ago we wrote about how browned off we were getting with all the fake events popping up on Facebook. So, when we initially heard about a 260-foot slide being erected by Christchurch we were sceptical to say the least...

It turns out, however, that this is in fact a real event that will be taking place on 23 July.

98FM have teamed up with HB Ice Cream and Dublin County Council for the Big Slide Home. This two lane waterslide (5 metres wide) will be constructed in Dublin City Centre on Winetavern Street (right beside Christchurch Cathedral), running from the arch of the Cathedral down to the base of the hill.

The slide will be open to the public from 12pm – 6pm on 23 July.

Want to get involved?  You'll need to tuned in to 98FM for a cue to go online and register for wristbands. You can find more info about this deadly development here.
