Keen to give your small business the extra charming edge?

We've got just the thing.

Vanessa Power (Signs of Power) is a Dublin artist - and you'll have most definitely seen her work before. Responsible for such art works as the Sprout sign, Two Boys Brew sign and Meet Me In The Morning's quaint painting above their door - Power is the best in the business when it comes to hand-painting signs.

And, she's starting up her very own Dublin sign painting workshops.

In the workshops themselves, you'll be learning the art form of hand painting menu boards, windows and shop signs.

''You'll start by teaching block lettering styles and brush strokes, continually improving brush control, technique and consistency, with participants gaining confidence every step of the way over the two days working towards completing their own Love Letter sign on a piece of wood to take home.''

Taking place in The Chocolate Factory, this event is suitable for all levels and includes everything you'll need on the day - including tea, coffee and snacks.

Keen?

The workshop dates are as follows:

  • 13th & 14th May, 10am - 5pm each day
  • 19th & 20th August, 10am - 5pm each day
  • 11th & 12th November, 10am - 5pm each day

...and tickets are available right here

And until next time - happy painting!
