A whole set of new figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) have showcased just how much water each Dublin postal code uses.
The survey, which refers to water use in Dublin back in 2015, has informed us that Dublin 6 is the area to come out on top – with an average of 488 litres per household per month.
Second-highest on the list is Dublin 4 – with a staggering 459 litres.
Rounding up the top three was Dublin 13 with an average annual use of 444 litres.
The average for the capital is 373 litres – with nine postal units of Dublin going above the average. Of this nine, six districts were based south of the Liffey.
