This Legend Of An 8-Year-Old Donated His Communion Money To Temple Street Children’s Hospital

seank

This legend of an 8-year-old donated the money he made from his Communion to Temple Street Children’s University Hospital this week and it’s the sweetest thing we’ve heard in ages.

Liam O’Flynn donated his Communion money to the hospital last Tuesday, after his little sister Gracie spent some time there herself and he wanted to do something nice for them.

The hospital posted this lovely message on their Facebook page:

Thank you so much to Liam for being so generous and donating his communion money so that each child in Temple Street got an ice cream on Tuesday […] We are so grateful to Liam for being so kind and thinking of us and giving all of our little patients a treat yesterday.

Liam’s mother Susan was incredibly proud of her son, she said:

Thank you all so much for your kind words. We are beyond proud of Liam. He is a wonderful child, wild as anything with a tremendously big heart. He is so happy with all the lovely comments and great pictures.

Liam, you may be 8, but you are the man.
