Traffic Already A Nightmare All Over The City As Two Accidents Occur And Turns Are Closed

katedemolder

Our sincerest apologies that we’re about to ruin your Tuesday evening even more, but here is a round up of all of the crap Dublin traffic occurring at present.

According to AA Roadwatch, there are long delays from the South Quays onto St John’s Road West, following two breakdowns. The breakdowns have since been cleared, but are still causing knock-on effects.

It’s very slow inbound from the Long Lane junction on Clanbrassil St, through to Christchurch and then to the South Quays.

Traffic lights are out of action on Jervis St at the Mary St junction, causing a build up of traffic.

Westbound traffic along the Grand Canal is slow from Baggot St to Portobello.

There are outbound delays in Fairview from the park to the Copeland Avenue Junction on the Malahide Road.

The left turn from Westmoreland St onto Fleet St will be closed for six weeks until midnight Mon 6th March for Luas Cross City works. Pedestrian and local access will be maintained. Signposted diversions will be in place

Aaaaand, as well as all this the 3pm Heuston – Cork train is currently operating with almost an hour’s delay.
