Gardaí and AA Roadwatch have issued warnings ahead of the huge football double header at Croke Park today.
Tyrone face Armagh at GAA HQ at 4pm followed by Dublin against Monaghan at 6pm and AA Roadwatch have said to expect delays on the M1, Swords Road and in Drumcondra this afternoon.

As well as that, Gardaí have warned that there will be delays on the south quays due to LUAS works

In the southside of the city, there will be road closures in the following places from 12.30pm:
– Lansdowne Park,
– Lansdowne Lane,
– Lansdowne Rd (between Shelbourne Rd and Herbert Bridge),
– Herbert Rd,
– Newbridge Ave,
– Bath Ave Londonbridge Rd
This is due to the soccer friendly between Liverpool and Athletic Bilbao which gets underway at 5.15pm
From 3:15pm, the remainder of Lansdowne Rd will close along with Shelbourne Rd, Beatty’s Ave and Ballsbridge Ave.
