Multiple crashes around Dublin this evening means that getting home is going to be a nightmare for a lot of people.
There have been collisions on the M50, M7 and N7 Naas Road and M8 and AA Roadwatch are doing their best to keep us up to date.
They posted on their website:
“On the M50, traffic is slow northbound from J12 Firhouse to J9 Red Cow. There are delays again from before J6 Blanchardstown to J4 Ballymun, where a breakdown has been cleared from the slip road from the M50 northbound to the Ballymun Rd.
“Southbound traffic is slow from the M1/M50 interchange to J4 and further south from J15 Kilternan to J5 Bray North on the M11.
“There are intermittent outbound delays from Blackhall Place through Stoneybatter to Hanlon’s Corner on Prussia St. Keep in mind that Aughrim St is closed for works, which will add to traffic on this route.
There are also some delays both ways on the NCR approaching Hanlon’s Corner, and further out, it’s busy outbound on the Navan Rd from the Baggot Rd jct to the Ashtown R/A.”
Hopefully things clear up soon enough.
