Trying To Get Home? There’s Chaos On The Northside Right Now

Alana Laverty

As with most Monday evenings, traffic is a total nightmare right now.

Everyone is rushing home and gtfo-ing their offices, so naturally it’s kinda bedlam out there right now. The Northside in particular is chaotic right now.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Delays to Luas Red Line due to a passenger taking ill on board a tram at the Four Courts earlier this evening – expect delays
  • There are reports of a collision on Drumcondra Road inbound before the Richmond Road junction in the bus lane
  • Collision on the M50 northbound at J5 Finglas
  • Outbound traffic is slow from Dorset Street at the Granby Row junction through Drumcondra and out to Collins Avenue on the Swords Road
  • It’s slow both ways on Church Street, with the outbound queue continuing past Doyle’s Corner on the Phibsborough Road where a crash has been cleared from the bus lane at the Connaught Street junction
  • Amiens Street outbound has delays from Connolly Station to Five Lamps

Take your time now, y’hear.
