On the former site of Raglan – a really slick clothes store that was bursting with personality, where you could get delicious coffee while you shopped – comes the most potent symbol of bland, faceless crap.
Suppose it’s pretty easy to pay those extortionately high city-centre rents when your annual corporation tax payment comes in at a measly €4,200.
This really is not what Dublin needs – and we’re already hearing whispers of more to come in the surrounding area.
Go away, Starbucks. Please, just… go away.
