This week we have four top events that you need to check out covering all manner of different interests. From secret tours to fashion, and from alternative comedy burlesque smack downs to cargo biking, read on for some of the more alternative events in Dublin this weekend.
Collection Launch With So Sue Me
Have you in the process of reading our OPSH street style blogs been bitten by the fashion bug? Then check out this free event for the new AQ/AQ fashion launch hosted by Ireland’s top fashion blogger, Suzanne Jackson. It’s happening in The Dress Pantry and you can register for free tickets below.
Smack My Bitch Up: The Orchids Vs The Pony Club
This is an event we definitely want to go to! A smack down between and alternative comedy burlesque group and tribal belly dancing group on stage in the Workmans club. It sounds so random and bizarre that we really don’t want to miss it.
Secret Garden Tour
If you read our recent post about the top hidden parks in Dublin city then you’ll know there are hidden gems all around the city. The secret garden tour organised by Making Space is a walking tour bringing adventurers for a walk across the city to check out the most chilled out urban spaces in the city.
Irish Cargo Bike Championship
Fancy something more sporty for the weekend? Check out the cargo bike championship this weekend on Chesterfield Avenue which will be closed off for the event. You can sign up for the championship and race other cargo bikers. There will also be loads of different exhibitors and bike related events on during the afternoon as part of Bike Week.
