Stuck for something to do one of the nights this weekend? Well then, you need to check out the stellar gigs happening in music hot-spot Sin É on Friday and Saturday night.
A jam-packed music weekend has been organised by Sin É to raise awareness and funds for the “incredible work Home Sweet Home has been doing.” The gigs will take place from around 9pm each evening, and the line-up of artists performing so far is pretty slick.
On Friday night you can treat your ears to The Eskies’ contemporary country-folk (picture Salty Dog stage type tunes) and the soulful Farah Elle who featured in our Irish artists to watch in 2017.
Saturday continues the trend of all-round fantastic artists with an acoustic set from band of brothers, The Hot Sprockets, and up-and-coming gypsy folk band Grand, who are guaranteed to get everyone moving with their booming jazz and swing.
Tickets are €15 and can be purchased on Eventbrite.ie, with all proceeds going directly to Home Sweet Home.
Now we just need to cross our fingers and toes that HSW activist Glen Hansard drops by to join in the jamming.
