According to figures obtained by The Irish Times, more than 56,000 vehicles were clamped in the Dublin City Council area last year.
That’s a startling average of 153 cars per day in 2016.
And not only that – but the council managed to rake in a whopping €4.2 million in clamping fees last year.

Naturally, some areas of Dublin are more prone to clamping than others.

So, yeah, avoid these like the plague or face that dreaded clamping fee that will ruin your life and leave you starving for the week.
