A Musician With The Best One-Hit Wonder Ever Is Playing In Dublin This Summer

The song reached number three in the Irish charts and still gets massive radio play to this day

Eagle Eyed Cherry

Look, we're not going to lie to you.

We'd gladly pay the price of a ticket, stand there through all the songs that we don't know and hum our way along, just to hear this being played live and to sing along.

Eagle-Eye Cherry is playing in Dublin this summer and if that name doesn't ring a bell, this song will.

'Save Tonight' absolutely lit up 1997 and reached number three in the Irish charts. It was Eagle-Eye Cherry's debut single and what a way to start off.

But, it was the beginning of the end for his commercial success, as his next song didn't even chart in Ireland and the other two singles that did, reached 23 and 39 in the charts respectively.

'Lanoo Cherry' has announced dates in the UK and Ireland for his new LP 'Streets of You' which is out now.

He will play Whelan's on May 29 and tickets are on sale this Friday, November 9 at 9am.

If you want to see him, you need to be there on that day, because everyone knows that come the next day, he'll be gone, the sneaky fecker.
