New Crime Drama ‘Dublin Murders’ Will Air On RTÉ And BBC Later This Year

James Fenton

Crime buffs could have a new obsession on the way in the form of a drama called Dublin Murders which will hit our screens later this year.

A joint RTÉ and BBC production, the eight-episode series is based on the Dublin Murder Squad novels by Tana French and will star Killian Scott and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor of Love/Hate fame.

Scott will star as Dublin detective Rob Reilly, swapping sides from his famous role as criminal Tommy in Love/Hate. Sarah Greene will play his partner Cassie Maddox and the pair’s relationship will be ‘sorely tested when murder cases bring up pieces of their pasts both would rather forget.’

Filming of the show took place on Talbot Street yesterday ahead of its release later this year.
