Say You'll Be There: A Spice Girls Singalong Is Happening Next Month

Warm up your vocals chords because Spice Fever will be hitting the capital next month.

As Ginger, Baby, Sporty and Scary Spice (RIP Posh) will be taking to the stage at Croke Park on May 24th, Singalong Social is staging an event as preparation for diehard fans to practice their lyrics.

Singalong Social will be holding a Spice Girls themed singalong in the Sugar Club on May 2nd.

Tickets are €10 euro when booked online, with 20% of proceeds after costs going to inclusive community music project  Joyful Noise that provide services for adults with intellectual disabilities.

** UPDATE! ** We’ve had a group cancellation so we have 23 tickets for grabs for Thursday night! Link in bio. Zig-ah-zig-ah! Stop. Right. Now. Whether you're heading to see The Spice Girls on their Dublin tour dates or weren't able to get a ticket, join Aoife Mc & The Craic Mechanics to sing along to all their greatest hits - and even some solo work - at The Sugar Club, Dublin on Thursday 2nd of May. Doors are at 7.30pm and we'll be singing through the Spice Girls best songs from 8.30pm sharp. We'll be finishing the night with a Spice Girls vs Girl Band Disco (think All Saints, Sugababes, Destiny's Child and Girls Aloud) and we'll be singing our last notes at 11pm - it's a school night, after all. Tickets are €10 + booking online or €15 on the door. As always, we'll be donating 20% of our proceeds after costs to our friends at Joyful Noise (find them on Insta @joyfulnoisedublin), an inclusive community music project predominantly for adults with intellectual disabilities. Gather your friends for a bit of zig-a-zig-ah! The Sing Along Social is a zero-commitment choir where friends and strangers gather together to sing along to their favourite tunes. It's kind of like group karaoke with no microphones and no putting anyone on the spot. You don't have to practice, you don't need to know the words and you don't even need to be able to sing. As a former attendee of the sold out ABBA Singalong Social earlier this year, it's one of the better nights out I've had in Dublin.

Most Singalong Social events sell out pretty quick so this is an event not to be missed.
