While Drumcondra is a popular suburban village just north of the city, it’s most well known for one of the city’s biggest attractions… Croke Park. Pop into Fagan’s pub here on a match day for the craic as the place will be packed with both locals and people who have travelled up from outside ‘the Pale’ who need a few scoops before and after the game.
It’s also a popular spot for young professionals renting in the city and if you’re calling into a friend living in the area, make sure to call into The Cheese Pantry first for wine, cheese and a sneaky slice of cake. When it comes to brunch you can’t beat Anderson’s Creperie for a breakfast galette to start the day. For an evening out with friends head to Chilli Banana to indulge in some delicious Thai food.
