Tim Burton’s ‘Batman’ Will Be Shown On The Big Screen At The Sugar Club This Weekend

Is Batman one of your favourite fictional characters? Do you love anything by Tim Burton? Do you enjoy making a difference? If you answered yes to these questions, then this is one movie screening you'll definitely want to attend.

Tim Burton's Batman will be shown on the big screen at The Sugar Club this Sunday night in order to raise money for 5-year-old Ben 'Batman' Farrell's cancer treatment.

The 1989 film follows the early career of the masked hero (Michael Keaton) as he begins to make a name for himself on the streets of Gotham. Meanwhile, a psychotic clown (Jack Nicholson) starts to take over the criminal underworld... 

Tim Burton's Batman transformed the image of the Caped Crusader from a slapstick character to a dark brooding figure that he's popularly known as today.

After the screening there will be an after party with music from Dublin's best House, Hip Hop and Disco artists. 

5-year-old Ben Farrell suffers from a rare form of cancer known as Wilms tumour stage IV and he needs to raise almost $250,000 to travel to the US for life-saving cancer treatment. 

Right now his family have raised over half of that figure, but they need the rest of the funds quickly in order to get Ben his treatment as soon as possible.
