Every year we look forward to an influx of brand new movies we can pour over.

And 2017 looks like it’s gonna be one heck of a line-up.

Here are ten movies we cannot wait to see in 2017:

1. The Greatest Showman on Earth

December 2017 

Starring Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, Rebecca Ferguson and Michelle Williams – a stellar cast. 

The story of American showman P.T. Barnum, founder of the circus that became the famous traveling Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.

2. Red Sparrow

November 2017

Starring Jennifer Lawrence, Joel Edgerton, Jeremy Irons and Matthias Schoenaerts.

Based on the book by Jason Matthews, Lawrence plays a trained seductress assassin.

3. The Great Wall

February 2017

Starring Matt Damon, Jing Tian, Pedro Pascal and Andy Lau.

A terrifying war set against the East’s most recognisable landmark. One to watch. 

4. Logan

March 2017 

Starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant and Boyd Holbrook.

This is expected to be Jackman’s final run as Wolverine, and the best yet. 

5. Kong: Skull Island

March 2017

Starring Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson and John Goodman. 

From the people behind 2014’s Godzilla we are brought Kong set in the Pacific during the thick of the Vietnam War. 

6. The Fate of the Furious

April 2017 

Starring Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez and Charlize Theron. 

The first movie since the death of Paul Walker, this one takes a different spin entirely as Vin Diesel plays the villain. 

7. The Lost City of Z

April 2017

Starring the wonderful Charlie Hunnam, Robert Pattinson, Tom Holland and Sienna Miller – an interesting group. 

An exploration gone wrong… we cannot wait to see this one.

8. The Circle

If you enjoyed Black Mirror then you’ll love this. 

April 2017

Starring Emma Watson and Tom Hanks – deadly. 

Based on the novel by David Eggers, The Circle chronicles tech worker Mae Holland as she joins a powerful Internet company which starts out as an incredibly rewarding experience, but as she works there longer things start to fall apart. 

9. Wonder Woman

June 2017 

Starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright.

Everything we ever wanted to know about Wonder Woman.

10. Lady Macbeth

June 2017

Anyone who studied Macbeth in school will be looking forward to this one as we all remember how intense Lady Macbeth’s character was.
