We’re lucky to have a neighbour like Wicklow, y’know.
Not only is it so easy to get to but it is also home to The Happy Pear Café and it has some of the most stunning scenery in the country. Whether you’re hopping on the DART to Bray for the day, strolling through Powerscourt Gardens or hiking through Glendalough, there are breathtaking views at every turn.
Take a gander at these stunning pictures, and we challenge you to come up with a reason why you shouldn’t visit Wicklow tomorrow…
Because Bray on a good day is like the Costa del Sol

And Wicklow’s pink skies make our hearts sing

Because nothing says majestic like the Glendalough’s lakes on a still day

And nothing humbles us more than the history of the ancient towers there

And dem trees…

And these gorgeous green hills (which look particularly great with a sprinkling of snow)

And the stunning views from those same hills

And because you never know who you’ll meet up there

Because Wicklow Town could not be any more quaint if it tried

And you’re never too far from a valley

Or a babbling brook…

Or a waterfall for that matter!

Because of the serenity you feel in the Djouce Woods

While escaping to Brittas Bay is as good as any holiday abroad

And because even on a bad day, it’s hard not to be blown away by the lakes in Wicklow

And the sunrises in Bray are so stunning they’re worth dragging yourself out of bed for

The sun peeking through the clouds like this makes us think we’ve just witnessed a miracle

Wickla – we’re comin’ for ya.
