Bento is a Japanese-style packed lunch, consisting of such items as rice, vegetables and sashimi. Or, as most of us call them, they're sushi boxes.

They're delicious, healthy and the perfect portion size for busy folks on the run. Like yourselves.

They usually come with a portion of miso soup (heaven) and loads of tasty, sticky rice – which keeps you full forever. The city has loads of options, but here are our absolute favourites. So treat yo'self this week and try some. You know you want to...

1. Ukiyo

Not just for karaoke.

Ukiyo is a great little spot, just on the corner of Exchequer Street, which does killer bento boxes for just a tenner. They'll fill you up for the day, and with all the right things, too.
