Tonight Professor Brian Cox and our very own Dara O Briain will be joined by guests including Apollo 11 astronaut, Buzz Aldrin, answering viewers’ questions from Jodrell Bank Observatory in Cheshire, counting us down to Friday’s total solar eclipse. Dr Lucie Green will also be trying to complete as serious astronomy challenge – trying to spot as many as possible of the 110 astronomical objects catalogued by French astronomer Charles Messier in the 18th century in just one night.
