We're big dog lovers here at Lovin Dublin and we thought we'd brighten up your Sunday by sharing some insanely cute dogs that are up for adoption right now up at Dogs Trust

The guys up there do such unbelievable work and at the moment they have over 180 dogs that are awaiting permanent rehoming. As you can see they come in all shapes and sizes, but this is a WAY better option than buying designer dogs from puppy farms where the animals are usually imported and often mistreated.

Look at their little faces. Time to give them a forever home...

1. George (Lab cross)

Gorgeous George is as bright as he is handsome. Not just a pretty face, but his guy has brains to burn and needs an active family with a keen interest in doggy sports such as agility! He's a physical boy and would love a super outdoorsy family to take him on plenty of outdoor adventures.

Type of home needed:

George needs an adult only home who don't have too many visitors as it takes George a bit of time to get to know you. When you do become acquainted, you'll have a friend for life that'll stick to you like glue. He gets on well with other dogs and is often overlooked as he lives back of house where he prefers a bit of peace and quiet.

2. Maisie (Collie)

Maisie is a beautiful and intelligent lady. She is an active girl who loves her daily walks and activities. Maisie is really good at doggy brain games such as scent games, agility, obedience training. She is a typical collie; full of beans and energy. Her favourite game is fetching the tennis ball and messing around with her carers. Maisie likes to make new friends on her walks out and about but can be a little worried when unfamiliar people or dogs come too close.

Type of home needed:

Maisie will make a wonderful addition to an active adult family, where she is going to be the only one dog in the house. Maisie can meet other dogs during her daily walks but cannot live with them. Maisie has huge potential and so much to offer. She should make a perfect agility/flyball dog and a loyal companion.

Maisie can get worried when she needs to stay alone for longer period of time. She can shadow chase when she gets very anxious. Maisie enjoys gentle fuss from her known carers but can get upset if she is over handled. Maisie is a sensitive lady and doesn't like loud noises.

3. Camelot (Terrier: Pit Bull)

Camelot is literally afraid of everything he doesn’t know. He has loads of loving humans but is afraid of the greater world. We help him in every way we can here but he really needs to find a special person to take their time and get to know this wonderful dog.

Type of home needed:

Adult only quiet home with someone who has the time and dedication to offer a very special young man who really hasnt had a good start to his life

Camelot was found as a baby straying he was very poorly and he spent some time in isolation. This impacted on Camelot’s development stages as a young pup.

4. Bruno (Crossbreed)

Bruno's story is a quite a sad one. He lost his family some time ago under very sad circumstances, he really did love them but had to say goodbye. Bruno was quite confused and frightened when he arrived at Dogs Trust but we know there is a special someone out there for him somewhere. Could it be you?

Type of home needed:

Bruno likes other dogs but needs a very quiet, adult only home. He has been in homes before but struggled to settle and it's really important that his new family spend time with him and his Canine Carers so you can see what a sweet, gentle and loving little soul he is.

5. Bingo (Beagle)

Bingo is a handsome middle-aged pup who is ready to start a new chapter in his life. Bingo came to the Centre with few of his Beagle pals, he still likes to hang around with them, but once play is finished, he likes his own space. Bingo finds it difficult to trust people but once you give him time and a super, extra-tasty treat, he will make friends with you.

Type of home needed:

Bingo is looking for an adult family that is ready to help him gain trust in people. Bingo needs plenty of love, time and patience to relax and fully enjoy his life. He loves to be spoiled and gets used to comfort quite easily. He enjoys his belongings and doesn't know how to share them yet. He will be happiest as a single family dog.
