Their ‘baby giftbox’ would be the ultimate present for a new born and their parents would love to see it coming too.
When it comes to baby gifts, I’m useless.
A disaster some might say. Most of my ideas evolve around football – shock.
For years, I bought one of my cousins Manchester United clothes only for him to turn out to be a…Spurs fan.
When my other cousin was born to Galway and Mayo parents, it was a must to buy him a Mayo baby grow that said ‘Bainnesteoir’ on it with a picture of a milk bottle on the front.
Yeah, I’m that sort of guy.
Anyway, for the next purchase, I decided to up the game.
Thankfully, I stumbled across this brand-new Irish website for baby clothes.
The items were all just so cute and original-looking and straight away I knew that a Fun Macool treat would be a special one for the newborn.
When I first visited the website, I just spent ages deciding what socks I’d choose.
How hard is it to pick between cats, hippos, bunnies, bears and sheep I hear you ask?
The Mayo business isn’t just serious about socks though, oh no.
They also sell killer hats, shoes and giftsets.
We’re really intrigued by their giftsets though and how they can manage to put together such a fantastic package for just above €30.
The collection of gift boxes, each bring a unique pair of footwear, a hat, socks, a toy and a book in the 1 year old box.
The contents are unusual and fun and come in 3 age groups: Newborn, around 6 months and 1 year old/first birthday.
“The boxes are a quality finish, 30x30x9cm, in Pink, Blue or a neutral Ivory, with contents to match. So – traditional boy/girl contents or non-gender specific selection in the Ivory box. (modern AND useful when you just can’t remember if it’s a boy or a girl – or, very popular as a Shower Party gift!) The box alone is sure to become a treasure box, with its magnetic closure and matching ribbon.”
We can’t agree more.
The beautiful giftsets are just as nice as the presents that are inside them and they will be something you hold on to even long after your baby has outgrown them.
Probably our most popular shoe ⛹️♂️⛹️♀️👌https://t.co/wm92k5sczt

Their trendiest of shoes (we love the ones in the pictures above) cost no more than €30, socks (we recommend you look at the racing car socks) will set you back around €8 and the hats are around €11.
“There is no unique selling point per se,” said owner Vera Coyne. “I’m just aiming for value, choice and something a little different.”
She nails all three of those things.
We’re bowled over by their shoes, they’re funky and a breath of fresh air from the popular booties that most babies are spotted wearing nowadays.
